Ensuring everybody can grab a piece of history and pay homage to the great Sandy Bodecker, these toddler sized Nike SB 'Raygun Tie-Dye' Dunk Low Pro Shoes have been designed with durable leather uppers. Coloured in black around the toe vamp and ankle which enhance yellow and orange tone tie dye inserts that reference Sandy’s favourite ‘Raygun’ hoodie, which he could often be seen wearing whilst working as Nike SB’s VP of Creative Products. Perforation has been added across the toe vamp for ventilation and white cotton laces help to keep the fit secure above a padded mesh tongue which bears a red Nike SB ‘Rayguns’ label. On either side of the foot black elongated Swoosh ticks bring distinctive branding to the design whilst small embroidered extraterrestrial characters holding rayguns can be seen to one side below and signify the model. Around the back of the heel a curved white panel also features a red tie dye effect and provides a background for embroidered ‘Nike’ lettering. The black rubber outsole ties in with the rest of the design and is completed by a white grippy tread pattern.

Celebrated for his endless curiosity, energy and enthusiasm Nike SB have paid tribute to their influential and sorely missed VP of Creative Products Sandy Bodecker, who sadly passed away last year. The three-piece footwear capsule incorporates tie dye elements within a classic Dunk model that carries an alien emblem which was seen on the original model that debuted in the early 2000’s during SB’s iconic pink-box era. Promoted through funky 1970’s style TV adverts, original red and yellow colour tones of the ‘Raygun’ remain and of course modern skate-driven features run throughout.
